Tel Kadayif with Pistachio
Ingredient
250 g butter or margarine
250 g SERA pistachio
For the syrup:
3 water cup sugar
3,5 water cup water
Half a lemon juice
Preparation
First, put the sugar and water in a pot and boil for the syrup. Add lemon juice and boil twice more, then cool it down. Pick the shredded dough (tel kadayif) into pieces with your fingers and separate them until they are stringy. Smear the tray with 3-4 tablespoon melted butter. Mix the rest of the butter in kadayif. Divide kadayif into two parts. Spread one half on buttered oven tray and press with your hand. Scatter ground pistachio on it. Place the rest of kadayif on pistachio and press with your hands. Put a weight on the dessert and wait for 10-12 minutes. Bake until golden in an oven preheated to 210° for 20 minutes. Pour the cool syrup on warm dessert.
